Cao Dai Temple in Tay Ninh

Cao Dai Holy See is away from the center of Tay Ninh town around 5 kilometers in the direction of East and began the construction in 1936. This is both the well-known work of architecture and art and the main centre of doing the religious works appertaining to Cao Dai faith in Tây Ninh, locating in about 1 kilometer wide precinct and fenced with the wall.

In the oratories, there are many shrines, working houses, accommodation. The most outstanding in the group of architecture is the holy temple, which resembles the architecture of Christian church and lengthens up to 100 meters with two high towers. In front of the holy temple, above is the image of the Buddha's eyes - a symbol of Cao Đài religion. The architecture of the Holy See seen from outside to inside expresses the harmonious combination between Oriental and Occidental architectural art with the dragon columns decorated splendidly in the imperial style, the vaults, the skillfully and sophisticatedly decorative designs.

There are also some of other beautiful architectures such as the main gate (Chánh Môn gate), the grave towers, the Holy Buddha temple, especially Bá Huệ Viên with many trees and species of beautiful flowers. Every year, there is the ceremony of the Most Venerated Reverend ‘s birthday on the 9th of lunar January and of Diêu Trì Kim Mẫu Reverend's birthday on the fifteenth day of lunar August organized, which attract several tourists everywhere to join in. Besides, travelers have a chance to go to Long Hoa market, which is the biggest one in Tây Ninh province, in order to enjoy a plenty of specific and much delicious vegetarian food.
